I'm against age limits for Congress. If we had them, we wouldn't have Bernie Sanders. There's also a lot to be said for experienced politicians. I do think, however, that everyone holding public office at the national level should get an independent medical exam, to include mental health, before being able to file for election or REelection. John Fetterman, for instance, probably should not be in office after his stroke. Trump definitely shouldn't be. We just have to make sure the exams aren't performed by some guy on the terrace at the candidate's golf club.
I’m 69 and retired. I agree there should be an upper age limit for President/Vice President, Congress and SCOTUS. Maybe 70 or 75? Should also have a reasonably good physical & mental health standard of some kind. We don’t need any truly sick people in important government positions.
In total agreement that upper age limits are a NECESSITY! Leaders We Deserve have a lot of younger people that deserve a chance of serving if they so desire. In my opinion 65 should be the MAXIMUM age to serve in Congress. That's the normal retirement age of those of us that have reached that milestone. Days are gone of the Career Politicians.

I definitely support an upper age limit for Congresspeople -- and for the Supreme Court. I think it should be 70. (I am almost 83, myself.)
Also, for the Supreme Court, I support a term limit: 20 years seems about right.

Age limit 75 (all), and term limits:
Senators: Max 2 (6 year terms, 12 years total). So election age is 63
Representatives: Max 5 (2 year terms, 10 years total). So election age is 65
Supreme Court: 20 years. So appointed at 55
President: Age 67 when elected
Society changes dramatically over 10-20 years. The ‘old ways’ don’t /won’t apply anymore.
