It used to feel alarmist to type a title like that, but unfortunately, everything has changed under this 2nd Trump term.
If you are one of those people who has been worried that Donald Trump and the Republicans are going to either cancel or rig our upcoming elections, you can feel a little vindicated in this moment.
In an interview earlier this week, MAGA ghoul, sloppy Steve Bannon, discusses why the rules do not apply to them.
Now, I know what some of you are thinking - didn’t we cover this story a couple weeks ago?
The answer to the question is - kinda.
Yes, we discussed an interview where Sloppy Steve talked about Trump 2028, but that wasn’t this interview. This is the SECOND TIME in less than 2 weeks, that Bannon has gone on the record to declare their plans.
This time he had more to say.
Steve Bannon:
“Well, he’s going to get a third term. So Trump 28. Trump is going to be president in 2028. And people just ought to get accommodated with that.
So what about the 22nd Amendment? There’s many different alternatives. At the appropriate time, we’ll lay out what the plan is.
But there’s a plan, and President Trump will be the president in 2028. We had longer odds in 2016, and longer odds in 2024 than we got in 2028.
And President Trump will be the president of the United States. And the country needs him to be president of the United States.
We have to finish what we started. And the way we finish it, do Trump.
Trump is a vehicle, I know this will drive you guys crazy, but he’s a vehicle of divine providence.
He’s an instrument.
He’s very imperfect.
He’s not churchy, not particularly religious. but he’s an instrument of divine will.
And you can tell this of how he’s pulled this off. We need him for at least one more term, right? And he’ll get that in 2028.
If you haven’t learned by now… just believe them when they tell you what it is they are planning on doing, because this is what they are planning on doing.
They do not care about the law.
They do not care about the Constitution.
They do not care about norms, guardrails.
Let all that go.
They don’t care.
And if you haven’t noticed that over the last year, then I’m convinced you haven’t been paying attention to anything happening in the news.
Honest question here, where does that leave us?
Because I know a lot of people were just hoping that he would just eventually leave office at some point and then hopefully the country would get back to normal.
What do we do now?
They are straight up telling you that they are not going to let this man leave office.
So what is our next move?
