The fact that several people referred to this as an "open secret" in Congress really worries me. How long did they know & how many more women have been assaulted that haven't come forward yet?

Since the majority of Congress are men, and they aren’t turning him in, this makes me wonder how many others are there doing the same thing.

Here we go again with two separate sets of laws, laws for Republicans and laws for Democrats. Why is it the Republicans seem to make theirs up as they go along and ours always follow the constitution go figure why is Donald Trump still the fucking White House?

What a disappointment. Not only in Mr. Swalwell, but in those around him who kept this quiet.

😞

No respect, none.

So Republicans can continue RAPING women and children with no calls for impeachment or removal but a Democrat resigns because of the backlash. No laws for maga and Dems have to face the consequences. It's ABSURD that we are living like this!

Then if he resigns the rest of the rapist, pedophiles better too ,including Trumpy

Beware of these politicians who’ve been afraid to call that orange pedophile insurrectionist exactly what he is. That's a “Tell” and this guy was one of them. Whispering instead of yelling, as the country collapses. Now we know why.🤨

ICYMI: he wasn’t doing his job in Congress either. “Rep. Eric Swalwell missed 102 out of 139 roll call votes, or 73%, between Sept. 19, 2025 and Feb. 9, 2026.”

Next best choice for California governor is Katie Porter. She is all about improving the state of the ECONOMY. I know she is a hard worker from her time in Congress.
