Did Kamala Harris Lose Pennsylvania Because Of Raw Milk?
Let me explain…
The secretary of state in Pennsylvania has officially reported on 99% of the votes in the state of Pennsylvania. The state has already officially called for Donald Trump, as well as the election overall, Trump seems to have won the state of Pennsylvania by 127,000 votes.
Now we’ve heard every single possible reason for why Kamala Harris has lost the election. Everyone seems to have their take own what she could’ve done differently, what wasn’t done well enough, what hurt the campaign, but maybe there’s a story out there that you haven’t heard yet?
With the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the department of HHS front and center in the news this week, I’ve been seeing a lot of jokes about raw milk, and how that might make a comeback here in the United States. Funny enough, raw milk might be the reason that Kamala Harris lost Pennsylvania in the 2024 election…
No, this is not a joke.
So I first came across this post on Instagram, through a news source that I routinely follow, and has a good track record of finding the stories others don’t report on as heavily. Here’s the post from Ground News ⬇️
And now here’s the caption for the post itself ⬇️
Pennsylvania’s Amish community turned out in record numbers for the 2024 election, reportedly rallying behind Donald Trump after a government crackdown on raw milk production.
The Amish, typically private and politically neutral, were mobilized following a state raid on the farm of Amos Miller in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, where authorities claimed raw dairy products had caused illnesses. This event reportedly spurred many Amish voters to register for the first time, with some scene displaying signs like “Pray for God’s Mercy for Our Nation” in protest.
Conservative activist, Scott Presler played a significant role in encouraging Amish turnout, focusing on local concerns about farming and religious freedom. Dr. Jan Halper–Hayes, a conservative figure, acknowledged Presler’s impact, tweeting, “If Trump wins Pennsylvania, we owe it all to this man!”
Scott Pressler registered 180,000 Amish first-time voters.
Now I will say, there are a multitude of reasons that you can look at the state of Pennsylvania and say - this is the reason Donald Trump won the state.
However, given the fact that she lost the state by 127,000 votes, and that this effort directly led to 180,000 voters who had never voted before coming out to vote for Trump, you can make the case that Kamala Harris lost Pennsylvania because of raw milk raids…
Like I was saying, there’s a lot of different ways that we can look at how and why the 2024 election broke down the way that it did. And I’m looking forward to going through these different stories over the next couple of months, as we try to take what we can learn going into the next election.
However, when I came across the story, this was something that I just had to share with everyone, because you can directly point to how big of an impact on that particular swing state.
Politics may be becoming more and more national, but stories like this can still show the importance of how local issues can have an effect on the national stage.
Since the end of the 2024 election, I’ve been taking a little bit of a break from content creation. I felt a little bad about it, but I’ve been promising myself over the last couple years that I would listen to my body when it felt it was time to take a break.
For those who aren’t aware, I’ve been dealing with some ongoing health issues for the last few years. Due to those health issues, I unfortunately, am not able to keep a regular schedule when it comes to content creation.
This is why there’s such an inconsistent output as far as videos I’m able to produce on YouTube, articles I’m able to put out on Substack, or even social media posts on Instagram.
Thankfully, with the help of some medical professionals and the people close to me in my life, 2024 has been a good year of progression in dealing with these medical issues. It’s my sincere hope that it won’t be too much longer before I’m able to live more normal life.
How does that translate to Independent Thought? My hope, is that once I’m able to carry a more consistent schedule, I’ll be able to turn this operation into the news show that I always envisioned it would be. I hope that you will stick with me through this time, as I try to turn that dream into a reality.
For those who have already signed up for the paid version of Substack, I honestly cannot thank you enough. It is my goal to use the funding from this to continue to expand this operation, and hopefully one day, have this be my full-time job.
I’ll probably need to add about another thousand paid members lol, but I believe we can get there eventually. In the meantime, we will build Independent Thought brick by brick.
Thank you for being here
Desmond
