As we make the final approach to the midterms this November, I know most of us are trying to think of how we can do more to take back Congress from Donald Trump’s regime.
I strongly suspect that the House of Representatives will flip back to the Democrats this cycle, so I personally want to focus more energy onto the Senate.
Plenty of seats are up for grabs & I think these are the candidates most likely to defeat their MAGA opponents in November.
If you can, please donate to them, sign up to phone back, canvass, or volunteer in some capacity. We have a real chance to take back power from MAGA & we must organize to take it.
The following list is in order of candidates I feel are most likely to win - to the least likely, but still have a realistic shot, depending on turnout. For this list we are excluding what you would consider “safe” blue seats.
1. Jon Ossoff - Georgia
2. Roy Cooper - North Carolina
3. Chris Pappas - New Hampshire
4. Abdul El-Sayed - Michigan
5. Troy Jackson - Maine
6. Mary Peltola - Alaska
7. Sherrod Brown - Ohio
8. James Talarico - Texas
9. Josh Turek - Iowa
10. Angie Nixon - Florida
As I was filling out this list, Substack warned me that my “file was becoming too large”, so I’m just going to text out the remaining candidates.
Adam Hamilton - Kansas
Dan Osborn - Nebraska
Todd Achilles - Idaho
Scott Colom - Mississippi
Again, I’ve ranked these in the order I believe are the most likely, to the least likely to win…but I do believe ALL of these candidates can win in November.
