Kilmar Abrego Garcia - Confirmed Alive! Maryland Senator Van Hollen Meets Him In El Salvador

Thursday evening, Maryland Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen, took to social media to post this picture and release this statement ⬇️
“I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar.
Tonight I had that chance.
I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love.
I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.”
Van Hollen traveled to the nation of El Salvador on Wednesday to push for the release of Abrego Garcia, after he was not transported back to the U.S. despite a Supreme Court ruling that ordered the Trump administration to "facilitate" his return.
Yesterday, Van Hollen was denied access to Mr. Garcia, with the Salvadoran government stating that the Trump regime was paying them to keep him in the country.
Several Maryland officials wrote to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Thursday demanding “verifiable proof that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is alive, healthy and safe.”
“It has now been over a month since Mr. Abrego Garcia was illegally deported by federal authorities in direct violation of a court order, and during that time, his family has received no meaningful confirmation of his health,” the officials wrote.

Obviously, we must continue to speak up and advocate for this man to return to the United States & his family.
However, I know plenty of us were worried that Kilmar Abrego Garcia might not be alive, with all the secrecy around his illegal detainment.
