I agree with Desmond. I think millions of people finally saw a politician talking about their intrests. About the economic struggle. And I think even maga's tuned in somewhere in those 25 hours. And they heard what democrats heard. Of course, if they had intelligence they would realise that Booker was doing this for all Americans, not corporate reasons. My views on Booker himself is mixed. I saw a clip where Saadia Mirza was trying to appeal to him about the Gaza war. And he didn't listen to her arguements. He even accused Saadia of "defending Hamas" for saying that Hamas had accepted a ceasefire. Biden himself said that the ceasefire deal Israel "accepted" in Januar was the exact same deal negotiated in March 2024, when #DiaperDon tried to take credit for the agreement. I have no doubt that Corey Booker wants peace and he did say that and that his intentions were good. But accusing someone like Saadia for defending Hamas was him reading the situation wrong and not really listening.
(Elected) Democrats are being too careful. Too timid. Too quiet or just not loud enough. They need to, in a meaningful and effective way, grab the attention of the media in a way that cannot be ignored. Protests are happening all over the place in state capitals and county seats, and they aren’t being picked up by national media. We see it on Reddit.

Booker intensity was catching. Am ready to go out for the democracy again.
