MAGA ghoul Steve Bannon is really worried that he and all of his friends are going to go to prison if the Republicans don’t win in 2028 and I really hope that’s the case…
Steve Bannon:
“I will tell you right now, as God is my witness, if we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.
And what do we have to counter it with? We have to counter it with more action, more intense action, more urgency. We’re burning daylight. If you look across every aspect of this, we have to codify what President Trump has done by executive order.
We have to understand that if we don’t take this to the maximum—a maximalist strategy now, with a sense of urgency, and in doing this, seize the institutions—if we don’t do that now, we lose this chance forever,” Bannon said. “Because you’re never gonna have another Trump.”
I have a crazy idea….
Maybe if government officials are committing crimes, they should go to prison. Donald Trump, Steven Miller, Elon Musk, & al the others that are flagrantly violating the law.
Steve Bannon, is the guy who has been openly and consistently saying that they are going to violate the Constitution to make sure that Trump runs again in 2028.
MAGA Republicans want to live in a world where they can do whatever they want, with absolutely no repercussions.
According to their ideology, the idea that there might be repercussions, means that the other side is tyrannical.
Donald Trump has violated the Hatch Act.
He’s violated the Leahy Law.
He has taken funds that were appropriated by Congress, put them somewhere else.
He’s killing people off of the coast of Venezuela, doesn’t seem to care.
There’s a long list of illegal activity that has already happened in 2025, but Bannon wants his supporters to believe that prosecuting them for these crimes would be “radical”.
Do you believe we should start prosecuting Presidents & members of their administrations for crimes committed while in power?

Okay, now let’s transition onto some other news.
Here’s 7 stories you may have missed:
Judge permanently bars Trump from deploying National Guard troops to Portland in response to immigration protests
This was reported by NBC News
A federal judge in Oregon on Friday issued a permanent injunction barring the Trump administration from deploying the National Guard on the streets of Portland in response to protests against the president’s immigration policies.
“This Court arrives at the necessary conclusion that there was neither ‘a rebellion or danger of a rebellion’ nor was the President ‘unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States’ in Oregon when he ordered the federalization and deployment of the National Guard,” U.S. District Judge Karin J. Immergut, who was appointed by President Donald Trump in his first term, wrote in her ruling.
The Trump administration can appeal the ruling if it wants to.
Donald Trump asks Supreme Court to block lower court ruling, which forced him to pay SNAP benefits for November…you read that correctly
Reported by CNN
President Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court on Friday evening to block a lower court ruling that required the administration to fully cover food stamp benefits for tens of millions of Americans in November.
The emergency request to the justices came hours after the US Department of Agriculture told states that it was working to comply with the ruling to fully fund the program that was issued a day earlier by US District Judge John McConnell in Rhode Island.
The administration had made a similar emergency appeal to a Boston-based federal appeals court Friday morning, but the court had not yet weighed in by the time the USDA sent the guidance, which also said the process to make full funding for November available should be completed later on Friday. The appeals court, in a brief order Friday night, declined to put the payments on hold temporarily while it reviewed the case “as quickly as possible.”
The administration asked the Supreme Court to issue an immediate, administrative hold on the case by 9:30 p.m. ET.
Turkey has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and dozens of other Israeli officials on “genocide” charges
Reported by CNN
Turkey on Friday issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and dozens of other Israeli officials on “genocide” charges.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office said it has issued warrants against 37 people. Besides Netanyahu, warrants target Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and military chief Eyal Zamir, among others.
The warrants charge the Israeli officials with “crimes against humanity” and “genocide” committed in Gaza and against the flotilla carrying aid to the enclave, according to the prosecutor’s office. That flotilla was intercepted by Israeli authorities last month.
The Turkish warrants for Netanyahu and other officials come almost a year after the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued a warrant for the Israeli leader, accusing him of war crimes.
The Trump administration has killed IRS Direct File, the program that let you file your taxes for free. Direct File will not be operational this coming tax season.
Reported by the Associated Press
IRS Direct File, the electronic system for filing tax returns for free, will not be offered next year, the Trump administration has confirmed.
An email sent Monday from IRS official Cynthia Noe to state comptrollers that participate in the Direct File program said that “IRS Direct File will not be available in Filing Season 2026. No launch date has been set for the future.”
The program developed during Joe Biden’s presidency was credited by users with making tax filing easy, fast and economical. However, it faced criticism from Republican lawmakers, who called it a waste of taxpayer money because free filing programs already exist (though they are difficult to use), and from commercial tax preparation companies, which have made billions from charging people to use their software.
Pennsylvania Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro attacks potential 2028 Presidential adversary - J.D. Vance
“America has a President and Vice President that don’t give a damn about all Americans. At least with Donald Trump, he’s transparent about that. JD Vance is a total phony. He claims to be a person of faith. When I see people in my state who are hungry because of JD Vance’s bullshit politics, that makes me angry”

Telsa shareholders announce plan to make Elon Musk a trillionaire
This is so unbelievably gross. I want to make this it’s own post, but it would probably be just me ranting the entire time about how disgustingly flawed our system is.
Elon Musk is poised to become the first trillionaire in world history. On Thursday, shareholders at the electric vehicle maker Tesla approved a pay package worth nearly $1 trillion if Musk meets certain corporate goals over the next decade. He’s already the world’s richest person with a net worth of around $500 billion.
U.S. median first-time homebuyer now at record-high of age 40
The typical first-time buyer in the US is now 40, a record high, according to new National Association of Realtors data.
First-timers accounted for 21% of purchasers between July 2024 and June 2025, a series low dating to 1981, as high prices, mortgage rates above 6%, and scarce affordable listings sidelined many would-be owners.
Repeat buyers, often equity-rich, are older and more competitive, and a record 26% of all buyers paid cash, NAR reported.
That’s all for tonight
Until next time,
Desmond
