Any policy that favors people over corporations should be welcomed, and we should continue to push for more. I'm so tired of politicians that only fight for corporations

There was a day when, if your power, your cable/internet went out, the provider didn't charge you for the service that they did not provide during the outage.

This should be law across the country. If no service is provided for any reason, the customer should not have to pay for the service that they did not receive.

In Norway (where I live) if you are without electricity for more than 12 hours, you can apply for compensation.

Sounds like how it should be everywhere

It's an incentive to fix the grid asap. In Norway we rarely have outtages that last days. I worked as a linesman when I was younger. It's a very demanding job on days when snow and ice loads or huge trees tip over the lines. It's something we prepare for.

Sounds like a Pete Buttigieg idea. 🌞

We must defeat the authoritarian oligarchy as soon as possible; we have no time to argue over the fine points, just get big money out of politics and get back government for the people. We can only do that if we take the House and Senate by storm. Vote blue!
