If corporate media wants to run cover for the regime - let's leave them behind
We’ve seen an almost complete 180 in terms of news coverage of Trump, when you look back to his 1st term in office.
While many outlets like CBS, NBC News, CNN, The Washington Post & The New York Times relentlessly barraged Trump with piece after piece about his handling of the country…
This time, they’ve completely backtracked to either being neutral, or outright rivaling Fox News in their fawning. Watching CBS News’ downfall has been particularly stunning, as the new editor in Chief Bari Weiss, has turned a once reputable company, into another propaganda arm of the Regime.
Whether we’re talking about news pieces that attempt to normalize Trump’s wars around the world, town halls with Erika Kirk (CBS), or allowing MAGA pundits to repeatedly lie on air (CNN), we’re entering what feels like the final hour for these corporate news titans.
They’re hemorrhaging subscribers, losing money, and losing influence at a break neck pace. Now, it seems The New York Times wants to join this wheel of disappointment.
The New York Times had to recently correct their own terrible reporting, because they got caught running cover for the Trump regime.
The NYT was a big proponent of holding Trump accountable in 2017-2021, but now seem to be falling in line like the rest.
