"Pedophile Protection Program" Hakeem Jeffries Calls Out Trump For Not Releasing Epstein Files

This & a few more news updates.

Before we get into today’s story…

I know a lot of people have been sending me their concerns about the 60 minutes interview over the weekend. Where it became evident again that the corporate media cannot be trusted to hold Donald Trump to account.

If you’re like me & you know the days of going to those outlets for the truth is over, please consider supporting Independent media sources.

I need 400 more paid subscribers to truly make this platform viable & help with the mission of bringing everyone news that isn’t tainted by the billionaires.

Please sign up here to help me reach that goal.

Here’s our story for today:

I have consistently called out the Democrats for having weak leadership, weak messaging, & a seemingly unfathomable lack of a coherent strategy to deal with the Trump regime this year.

To my surprise, Democratic House Leader Hakeem Jeffries said this about Trump & Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson earlier today:

Hakeem Jeffries:

“Well, the Trump administration and Mike Johnson are running a pedophile protection program.

That’s what they’ve been doing.

And that’s the reason why they refuse to swear in representative elect Adelita Grijalva for weeks now. She was elected in late September decisively and representative elect Adelita Grijalva still hasn’t been sworn in because she’ll become the 218th vote on an up or down piece of legislation that will require the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files.

And yet week after week after week have gone by and Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva is unable to serve 800,000 plus people in the state of Arizona, all because of the pedophile protection program being run by Mike Johnson and House Republicans at the direction of their boss,

Donald J. Trump.”

I have had, and will continue to voice, my criticisms of the Democratic Party, but I will also acknowledge when they get things right.

This is the way they should be messaging this issue. Not just Jeffries, but all of them, every single day.

Trump feels vulnerable on this issue & needs to be pressed on it CONSTANTLY. That’s how you attack a tyrant.

Hopefully, more of this will come in the future.

In other news:

  • Elon Musk & Donald Trump endorse Andrew Cuomo for NYC Mayor. I personally cannot think of a better endorsement for Zohran Mamdani in tomorrow’s NYC Mayor election.

  • BERNIE SANDERS: “Cuomo says if Mamdani wins, the Democratic party dies. No, Mr. Cuomo. The corporate wing of the Party may die, but a progressive Democratic party prepared to take on oligarchs to fight for our needs will only get stronger.”

  • Right wing media begins crashing out over possible Mamdani win

  • President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would withhold most federal funding from New York City if Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani wins Tuesday’s mayoral election.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump said, “it is highly unlikely that I will be contributing Federal Funds, other than the very minimum as required,” calling the city’s future under Mamdani “a Complete and Total Economic and Social Disaster.”

  • Government shutdown threatens to delay home heating aid for millions of low-income families - Millions of low-income families could face delays in receiving home heating assistance as the federal government shutdown continues into its fifth week. The $4.1 billion Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, helps about 5.9 million households pay heating and cooling bills, but states say they have not received their annual federal allocations. Programs in Pennsylvania, Kansas, Minnesota, and New York have already announced delays, with some states warning payments may not resume until December.

“The impact, even if it’s temporary, on many of the nation’s poor families is going to be profound if we don’t solve this problem,” Mark Wolfe, executive director of the National Energy Assistance Directors Association, told the Associated Press. He said that multiple safety net programs are “heading toward a cliff at the same time.” In Pennsylvania, Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration said it cannot advance $200 million in expected federal aid, delaying help for 300,000 households.

  • Ohio lawmakers approved a redistricting map that could shift more U.S. House seats toward Republicans. The bipartisan Ohio Redistricting Commission voted unanimously for the plan, with Democrats agreeing only after rejecting other proposals they considered worse. State Rep. Brian Stewart, R-Ashville, told the Columbus Dispatch, “Coming to an agreement that is in the best interest of the state, not just the most vocal elements of either party, I think is some of the toughest things that we can do as elected leaders in 2025.”

Everything I post after my picture is basically my P.S. btw. The article is finished, but for the people who like to hear my extra thoughts…that’s what this section is for.

I’ve been spending some time over the last week trying to develop a gameplan for the future. One that includes regular posts here on Substack, but also on Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok & Facebook (I know that’s a lot).

I’m still not sure how it’s all going to work just yet, but I’m excited to try to find a way to make this all work.

For now, I want to thank the consistent 3,000 - 5,000 of you that basically read every single post here on Substack. I know a lot of you never comment, but you do read everything.

Thank you, truly.

I hope once I get a few more folks to help fund this operation, by signing up as paid members, it can really become something special. I don’t have the financial support that Meidas Touch has (10,000+ paid subscribers), but I believe eventually more people will see this platform as one worth investing into.
