Everyday I log onto Threads, Instagram, or Tik Tok, and I see numerous accounts of ICE agents committing acts of violence and/or illegal activities. It goes without saying, we are witnessing something weāve never seen in our country before.
Whether itās masked men tearing people out of their homes, breaking windows & dragging people out of cars, abducting people off the street with no warrants, or propelling out of helicopters to storm apartment buildingsā¦
ICE has created a tidal wave of fear in America.
How do I know this to be true & not just something Iām projecting?
I posted a video titled - āI donāt feel safe in America anymoreā over a week ago. The video has gained 100ās of thousands of views, with thousands of shares and comments of people telling me they feel the same way.
Many have DMād me, to either say they understand why Iām afraid, or other people of color sending me messages that they also feel the same way. This is the video for reference:
The culture of fear is precisely what this President wants. Itās delivering on a longstanding promise to his base, and with the infusion of cash from the latest ābig bullshit billā, we know ICE operations will only increase from here.
While the future of what happens next with ICE is uncertain, we all know that in the present, many cities are under siege from Trumpās secret police.
