Donald Trump wants you to be afraid of the "other". We can never allow him to have that victory. The only minority destroying this country is the billionaires.

Excellent piece.

Racism has no place here.

trump is morally corrupt to promote it, to incite it (as he did with the J6 Insurrection).

trump has been using this situation to create a scapegoat, that is beyond doubt.

He has also used the death of Charlie Kirk, the 'assassination attempt' in Butler, PA, the shooting deaths of two Minnesota lawmakers, etc, to blame the so-called 'radical far-left' for the violence happening in the nation.

The simple fact is that he and his MAGA Mafia lackeys need to look in the mirror. The reflection will reveal the real cause.

The shooting of 2 national guard members is of course a tragedy. But tragedy might be the reason behind it also. We know that Afghans have many reasons to be angry at the US government. In addition CIA director Ratcliffe confirmed Lakanwal helped the US as part of a CIA-backed force in Kandahar, a Taliban stronghold. And we know Afghan refugees have now lost their protected status and can worst case scenario be sent back to be executed by Taliban on arrival. Some believe it's a false flag operation. Maybe this man's actions will be used to justify the continued deployment of national guard to democratic cities. Or worse be used to declare martial law, this wasn't a terror attack in the traditional sense. He attacked the US military. People that know there is a risk that comes with the job. It's in no way acceptable. But when we learn his reasons, it will probably be understandable. The US have failed Afghans at every turn. The Biden administration is also to blame. But TacoDon making a deal with Taliban and having 5k Taliban soldiers released was what sealed their faith. Taliban would not have been able to take control of Afghanistan so quickly if those soldiers were not released.
