I was into TT big time. Probably spent too much time there, honestly, but it was my only social outlet really. ( health issues make it hard for me to hold a job ). However, after receiving multiple violations when it came back, I knew it was not a state app & the censorship will be HUGE. I deleted my videos & then my account. I cried. But I’m finding my community again between Substack & Bluesky ❤️
I do not do TikTok. I’ve always been concerned about the national security issues but then I imagine the CCP knows all about me through my cell phone, anyway, so what the hell. I hope users who’ve explored Substack will stay here. And welcome aboard.
I used to to find leftist content because everything is Republican and Dem. And neither are good. TikTok will be the same for a while then it will be censored we shall see.
I feel TikTok was useful as a news outlet, alongside the fun vids. Unfortunately, the possibility exists that TT is now compromised. Twitter was used as a boots-on-the-ground news outlet and it too was compromised. It's obvious uniting the people and providing education and connection and authentic news sources is NOT a priority for either administration. Perhaps we shall eat cake.

I deleted the app as soon as I saw that message saying they were "working with Trump" on a solution. I know a political stunt when I see one.
Started out using to watch music & news and then I realized that the news that showed up on TT was relevant and timely. I’m off now because of BS
