So you'd rather see the left sacrifice their morals to appeal to Republican voters than work to win back the millions of disenfranchised liberal voters who refuse to vote for corporate, neo-libetal candidates like Buttigeig?

AOC or let it burn

I like the idea of AOC as president. And I DO think the US is ready for a female president. And I know she would do a good job. But I think Buttigieg appeals to even more people. The two of them would be a a good combination. I think Buttigieg appeal to even more people. Of course the "concervative" part of the US might have a problem with a 1st husband. But Buttigieg is in a unique position. He have been seen by millions of magas in many interviews on Fox. Republicans haven't viewed him as a threat, but he is.

Desmond, take a look at Massachusetts Congressman Jake Auchincloss as a possible 2028 candidate.

I would definitely consider voting for her in 2028. She is highly intelligent and qualified. But, the percentage of voters who are extremists, anti-science, and poorly educated seems to be increasing, which increases the percentage of people who are racist and misogynistic. I don’t see the Republican Party improving in the next 4 years. They seem to be getting worse, so electing an intelligent woman? Not likely.

I think a candidate like her would increase voter turnout amongst the usual non-voting crowd, which would offset the current gap

About Murkowski, she ended up voting to confirm RFK jr. Was that because she was scared?

I've been wondering the same thing.

In my opinion we'll all be dead by 2028. Somebody's going to get so pissed at a nuclear bomb is going to just land in the middle of the US and that'll be it. And we'll all have baboon boy to thank for it

I think your whole point about her being “fukable” is a bit off. While yes also no. Men have the hots for her but it can literally serve her in both ways. Some of them will not vote for her for that reason and some will vote for her exactly for that reason. As for women and their internalised misogyny again it spreads and exists regardless of someone’s age or appearance. Some women just don’t wanna see other women win period. But there are also millions of women out there that do. Young girls up to the women in their 60s and 70s that fought for our rights their whole life and just wanna see one of them make it through in their life time. AOC doesn’t have to win everyone over. No candidate can do that. But she doesn’t have to she just has to activate and speak to the ones that matter. And when young kids in their late teens/20s or marginalised groups like the trans community fall into her arms and cry because she is the one fighting for them or people say I listen to her and have goosebumps and hope again. It signals smt so much bigger
