Today I was joined by James Li, who is an independent journalist & political content creator.
I’ve been following James’ work for quite a few years now, so it was great to finally have a chance to speak with him about the news cycle.
James is definitely more of a centrist with his politics, so we did not agree on every subject we spoke on today, and I definitely felt like some of our discussions could have went on longer.
While we didn’t agree on everything regarding Trump, the Democrats & Republicans, and the ICE protests, I appreciated having the chance to speak with someone from outside my normal political bubble.
In this conversation we covered:
Will the United States be dragged into the Israel/Iran war? Should it be involved?
62% of Democratic voters say they want new party leadership, our thoughts on why that might be, & the direction of the party
ICE protests - how effective are they, the motivations for people going, & should ICE exist?
Palantir - what exactly is it & why should you care about the increase of government surveillance programs
These conversations are also being posted on YouTube for those that would prefer to watch them outside of Substack.
You can download this episode, or watch from the Substack app! I definitely recommend downloading the app, if you haven’t already. Please let me know if you have any questions about downloading the episode.
