I participated. There’s another economic blackout scheduled for march 8 and another one on march 15. There’s an Amazon boycott scheduled for march 7 through march 14 and a Walmart boycott scheduled for April 7 through April 14.

Where did you see the other blackout dates posted? I’d love to see who is organizing

Also visit the website ladylibertie/substack.com. There’s an online resistance calendar listing all upcoming events. There’s a march 28 economic blackout there that I wasn’t aware of. Great resource.

Also see TheOneCalledJai (John Schwarz) on instagram. He’s the organizer. I still haven’t found anything on the march dates, yet, anyway.

Ok, I’ve been looking for the post for march 8 and march 15 but haven’t found it yet. Possibly it’s been removed, I wrote it down on my calendar when I read the post. I’ll keep looking. The boycott dates (there are several boycotts scheduled)and the April 18 economic blackout can be viewed on Facebook, the poster is Indivisible Puyallup

Always good to help victims of an invading military

I will participate in ANY boycott going forward. For the record, I have not been shopping at Hobby Lobby or Home Depot since I discovered they were staunch supporters of djt. That boycott has been going on since his first term and will not end for me. I hope people participate in the META boycott as well. Also, bear in mind that if you shop from an ad on FB or IG, do not do so from those platforms. Instead, go directly to the vendor’s website. That will strip any % of the proceeds from META.

I had to go hunting for it. I had heard, seen posts, but all were too stark. This little bunny... (Agree, I have no talent) was what I shared with family, friends as a gentle, unthreatenin way of reminding/letting them know about it. I've got some MAGA and frankly, I'm scared of them and their aggressive "I'm right" persona, but I still wanted to be brave and this artwork let me

I’m glad the artwork could bridge the gap a little bit!

Not only did I participate but as of Jan 20 I only shop for necessities and get as much from local shops as I can. Farmers markets, used clothing and household goods. It’s ongoing for me! I’m done buying into our consumer society. Let’s flip the script and make this the new way.

I bought nothing but supper at our neighborhood, family owned and operated, bar and grill that had to shut down last week because they all had the flu. I paid cash and threw in an extra large tip for the servers.

I participated, until I saw the White House pressor, and then I use my card to donate to Ukraine at three different charities

I did ✊🏾 and I have started an I’ve been boycotting Amazon since November 2024. I am permanently switching to cash and dumped my Tesla stock.

I did not buy anything except for a bag of coffee from my local roaster. (in cash)

It felt good. Also no Meta media.

I slept better than I have in a long time

Thank you

I participated as well. I've already been boycotting a lot of companies since they started bending the knee, but this, I think, was pretty big. I did, however, come across another flyer, this one from and for maga, talking about our boycotting and encouraging people to spend more than normal on that day at all of the places we are boycotting. I really hope, at least most of them, didn't do that. We're here trying to tell corporations that that don't control us and we have power and then we have those idiots wanting to show the corporations, i guess, that they can be controlled and have no power themselves. It's ridiculous

Yes, I saw the red rabbit. I even re-posted the red rabbit. I deleted all my Facebook accounts and one of my two Instagram accounts. I bought nothing. Looking forward to further boycotts. Boycotting is my love-language

I’ve been boycotting Amazon, Walmart and trying to buy local including produce and buying Canadian. It is more work and I’m not always successful in finding a Canadian alternative and then I do without. It is helping me to become more mindful of what I need and what I want. It is also a way to fight back and I feel empowered by it.

I’ve been supporting small business for years. Yes my husband does buy building materials at home depot and Lowes and we go to costco once a month. We only buy what we need. We recycle, reuse and try to impress this in our children. We haven’t used big banks since we got married in 1991.

The movement brings awareness though to people who don’t do these things. It makes people think about how and where their money is being used. We can’t always eliminate corporation spending but its like buying organic. It is more expensive but maybe healthier in the long run. And when we are healthier we have less debt.

I participated and yes! Let’s do it again

I sure did! I spread the word using every single notification about it. I did not engage with any of the boastful naysayers who poo-pooed this effort. They are in lockstep with EM and djt..not going to waste my breath on them.
