I have a hard time figuring out Schumer and Jeffries. Perhaps they share the same belief that Joe Biden has, that the Republicans are their friends, not their enemies. I know that they are trying to get along with the GOP, but for the Republicans, the feeling is not mutual.
When one keeps trying to reach out across the aisle, yet keeps getting his hand slapped, it is time to move on, and consider another option.

so, dhs will not be funded...but they have a massive amount of approved funding already!!!! surely they can spend that....they are not at a $0 cash balance or in overdraft...like many workers will be....
i feel bad for the tsa and air traffic controller workers, and heard how many suffered in the last gov shut-down....
