What is your reaction to this story, because I'm still at a bit of a loss reading this. I can't tell if I should be laughing or worried at the fact that we're sending ICE to other countries.
To me it seems they are treating them to a vacation. They're probably happy with their (illgal) efforts. If they try anything there under the pretence of law enforcement. They will be imprisoned.
If they don't know how to behave here they won't impress anyone there. There's some nefarious reason for this. It should be illegal too, since there's nothing in their official duties that could possibly pertain in another country.
I read they're giving the reason that it's not unusual to send govt officers out of their normal jobs to help with security LOL ok so maybe that's not unusual but Iced Gestapo certainly is. How could anyone be dumb enough to think they would be welcomed??? The world can see what they are.
ICE will be protecting jd vance instead of the Secret Service agents per his request. Italian officials have refused them permission. Just another weird distraction attempt by the current regime from all the disasters they are inflicting on US citizens and residents. This becomes more of a sh*t show every day.

Another possibility is they need to spend down the astronomical amount of money they gave to ICE, and ICE agent morale is down - a trip to Italy makes a dent in both. Also, just another opportunity to flex the idea that the US runs the world.
